Election Commission of India - Ban MNS and Raj Thackeray

Raj Thackeray, is having a ball,all at the cost of North Indians, and in the process is taking out steam from Shiv Sena . A ploy deployed successfully. The Government of India and the Maharashtra Government are mute spectators. Time and again ,North Indians are beaten up at some place within Maharashtra , particularly Mumbai, it would not be out of place to reason out the main villain, the Maharasthra Government which allowed Raj Thackeray,to have his way, with the objective of weakening Shiv Sena,which ultimately may benefit, the Congress in the forthcoming elections. FIRs were lodged very late , and Raj Thackeray has managed to obtain bail/anticipatory bail. The Solution to Raj Thackeray's antics lies with the ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA. Raj Thackeray's MNS party should be de recognised by the Election Commission . The whole episode enacted by Raj Thackeray is to derive political mileage , and because the gimmick of North Indians and West Indians are catchy, even Marathis' know that Raj Thackeray is only using them, and playing with their sentiments. Once Election Commission of India acts and his party is de recognized , Raj Thackeray will have no platform to deliver, any venom ,among the marathi masses.It is to be noticed any such move on the part of Election Commission of India, after show causing him "why his party should not be banned and you be restrained from seeking elections to any election conducted by/under the supervision of Election Commission of India and its agencies. The move will not only find support from all political parties of India but also from Raj Thackeray's arch rival Shiv Sena. The only worry of Raj Thackeray at this juncture is how to beat his cousin Uddhav Thackeray . Raj Thackeray should be banned from holding any Government / Constitutional post at least for 10 years subject to relaxation provided his conduct is scrutinized by the authorities/police periodically, during this duration, under Probation,which he should be subjected to., and relaxation thought of,if any. Laws of the land are not strong/stringent enough to punish Raj Thackeray the accused in the rioting that took place in Mumbai. Now that the Maharasthra Government has acted against Raj Thackeray , it should ensure that North Indians feel free and are ensured of 'freedom of speech' and "Right to life with dignity"

Daiichi Sankyo deprives Ranbaxy Lab shareholders of Rs.2100 Crore.Intervene SEBI / Reserve Bank of India

rajkumarojha.blogspot.com: SEBI and the Reserve Bank of India the regulators of the stock market and the Money Market may please note that the Diachii Sankyo buyback deal of Ranbaxy Lab Ltd in June 2008,at that point of time the deal was worth about Rs.21000 at the then prevailing rate Dollar/Yen viz a viz Indian Rupee which at that point of time was about Rs.42.5 to a US dollar

The present prevailing rate of Rs.47.5 or Rs.47.00 to a dollar Daiichi has gained Rs.2100 Crore roughly 10 % of the buyback amount which they shall pay less and still the deal is through. Daichii shall pocket RS.2100 Crore all at the cost of the shareholders of Ranbaxy.

I respectfully bring to the kind Notice of RBI/SEBI that RBI has still not approved of the deal as it has not put its stamp of approval till today. I make this assertion only on the basis of Email received by me from ICICI Securities Mumbai the Managers to the buyback issue, on 08.10.08 at about 6.00 PM IST

The Email is reproduced hereinbelow verbatum :

"Wth respect to your queries, please note that the CCEA approval has been obtained and currently we are awaiting for the RBI approval. The rate of interest for the delay (from September 20, 2008) shall be 10% per annum on the offer consideration. Once we get a go ahead from RBI, the payment shall be dispatched shortly (roughly 4-5 working days after that, depending on logistics such as printing duration etc) after that.

Trust the same shall suffice.

An analysis of the information provided demonstrates that RBI is still sitting tight. over the issue, even when the Union Cabinet and CCEA has put its seal of approval on 03.10.08.

I suggest to the RBI/SEBI that on the date on which the approval is stamped by RBI ,should be the date of final settlement , and currency price fluctution , in the instant case Rs.2000 Crore, shareholders of RANBAXY be directly rewarded and under no circumstances the buyer DAIICHI SANKYO JAPAN be permitted to gulp the amount and in this way they should set an example of GOOD MANAGEMENT PRACTICE and INVESTOR FRIENDLY MANANGMENT.

I further empathetically state that the model mode of Calculation be the Total Numbers of shares purchased through buyback (which in the instant Case is 9.2 crore of Equity shares of Ranbaxy of face value of Rs.5.00 each) be divided by the Currency fluctuation Amount (Rs.2000 Crore in thte instant Case) the resultant amount per share be added to the already declared buyback amount per share, thus in the present scenario Each shareholder who has tendered his shares against the buyback , should be paid an agreed amount Rs.737 per share in the instant case) plus the resultant amount .

Daichii Sankyo Japan has come up with a vague sggestion that it is going to pay 10 % interest for the delay,( say the delay is one month), the shareholders are going to receive, a petty sum, as interest amount on a pro rata basis viz a viz currency fluctuation saving amount of Rs.2100 Crore, and I feel that it is a clear case of unfriendly market practises right under the nose of the CAPITAL/MONEY market regulator SEBI/RBI.

Had there been a reverse situation then the declared buyback price per share ,should be the final price .

Alernatively the currency fluctuation amount, the purchaser be directed to deposit under the head , Reserve and Surplus , account of the company, and the shareholders having residual no: of shares be permitted to gain.

Let the Market Regulator, SEBI, RBI, NSE, BSE, Investor Associations,Investors and shareholders of respective Companies, Finance and Law Ministry of the Union Government PONDER OVER a MATTER as serious as Rs.2100 Crore deprivation to shareholders of Ranbaxy Lab Ltd by the purchaser Daiichi Sankyo Japan , a pharma major.

Bye Bye Singur West Bengal (TATA NANO) and Bye Bye India /BCCI and Cricket lovers- SAURAV GANGULY West Bengal

Two Episodes occurred today and with a heavy heart I must confess both are directly related to West Bengal :

TATA's Nano has officially been shifted from Singur West Bengal to Sanand ,Gujarat and Memorandum of Understanding has been inked between TATA Motors and State Government of Gujarat in the presence of Mr Narendra Modi Chief Minister Gujarat and Mr.RATAN TATA in the presence of Media and the beurocrats and the announcement was made in the joint press conference held by the State Government and Mr Narendra Modi and Mr. RATAN TATA .

It has officially been confirmed that TATA has been allotted 1100 acre of land and the plant shall become operational in March 2009 . The Plant capacity is 2.5 lacs NANO P.A.

My hearty Congratulations to the Government of Gujarat and its Chief Minister Sri Narendra Modi, who on this auspicious day has completed 7 years as Chief minister of Gujarat

It is West Bengal's loss and Budda dev Bhattarcharya's lack of political will and MAMTA's overzeal to achieve nothing. MAMTA BANERJEE has disgraced West Bengal .

It is worthwhile to give serious thought to Mr Ratan TATA's comment in the press conferance dated 03.10.08 wherein he asserted that he fails to understand "From where did MAMTA get money to laaunch and prolong agitation for two years and what is her source of funding. It needs to be enquiry".

SAURAV GANGULY : It is a sad day in the history of Indian Cricket team and West Bengal that Saurav GAnguly had to announce his retirement. The selection committee every now and then had the dagger hanging on his head , and he being not sure of his continuance as member team India, had announced his retirement today after the end of the current series of the India-Australia series 2008-09. Only time will tell whether this announcement is made in distress ?Saurav I salute u for ur guts, captaincy and also as player both with bat/ball and your knowledge of Cricket. Indian Children and Whole of India salute You ,and they shall always remember you as long as cricket is remembered .Your centuries, fifties , sixes, fours, three's two's, and one's were a treat to watch. Your magical bowling shall always be remembered .

Today the Nation says Best of life after retirement to Saurav Ganguly, Dona and their children.

It saddened me today also for the news that he received threats regarding his daughter. The Government of India and the State Government should proctect the life and property of Saurav Ganguly and his family. I once again salute Saurav Ganguly and West Bengal

NANO MAMTA's Waterloo

MAMTA has never faced such a political dilemma all her life, as she is confronted with NANO ,Singur.

Ratan Tata's Press Conference on 03rd October 08, wherein he declared that he is shifting the NANO project from Singur West Bengal, has sent shock waves all over India and also all over the world. THE foreign investment climate has never been such adversely jolted,as of today.

SINGUR NANO project withdrawal has signalled the following points to ponder:

- Whether West Bengal Government headed by CPI(M) can shy away from its responsibility of providing security and managing the state of affairs in and around Singur, for the smooth functioning of the project ?

_ Whether insensitive Leaders like MAMTA Banerjee /Tirumool Congress are not answerable to People of West Bengal/India ?

- Whether MAMTA should not be prosecuted for raising obstacles and causing hindrances , under the I.P.C ,without any authority of law, in the garb of self proclaimed public representative ?

- Whether Ratan Tata has done the right thing and shifted the NANO project from Singur without bowing to oppression of the opposition party MAMTA ?

- Whether TATA's act and conduct demonstrate that Indian Business houses have come of age and politicians can not have their illegal say every now and then ?

- Whether Ratan TATA should be awarded the Bharat Ratna (A) for teaching the politicians, their moral responsibility viz a viz accountability ? (B) AS FICCI which has hailed Ratan Tata's act as HISTORIC , should also award Mr. Ratan TATA as "business man of the year award for 2008-09" ?

- Whether the public of West Bengal be requested to, not to cast a single vote for Tirumul Congress in the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2009 and teach her a lesson of her lifetime ?

It is beyond doubt that the politicians play dirty politics, which ofcourse Mamta was playing, has misfired, and she has fallen flat with no face to show, either to the farmers of Singur, West Bengal and the TATA's and last but not the least the Governor too played a dirty role and came out with a impractical solution and should be condemned by one and all.

Insensitive Mamta its a wake up call from NATURE lest u perish unsung unheard and of course unmarried ?
