Sri Man Mohan Singh has taken Oath as Prime Minister of India, for the second time ,after completing his tenure of previous five years . a feat only achieved earlier by Late Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru . The oath ceremony took place on 22.05.09 at 6.30 P M at New Delhi. along with the Prime Minister 19 other Cabinet Minsters also took Oath.

It is a wonderful scenario in Uttar Pradesh and after long 18 years plus wait. Indian National Congress under the able leadership of Smt Sonia Gandhi , Chairperson of the Party, Sri Rahul Gandhi General Secretary of the Indian National Congress and Incharge of Uttar Pradesh, and last but not the least Smt Reeta Bahuguna Joshi ,President of Uttar Pradesh Unit of Indian National Congress, for their collective efforts, deserve kudos to bring back Uttar Pradesh back on the Congress fold, and, in returning Congress Lok Sabha nominees, elected as Lok Sabha Members. It is indeed heartening to see that in Uttar Pradesh, Congress has performed exceedingly well, and 21 plus of its Lok Sabha candidates have won the Lok Sabha Elections 2009. It now appears that the electorate has returned to the Congress fold, and if one reads the pattern in this election National Parties have done well as compared to Regional parties, which do politics on caste lines. A Good Beginning indeed !Thank You Electorate .

I further Congratulate Dr Man Mohan Singh Prime Minister of India , to have led the Country successfully for the last 5 years and further to lead India , as Prime Minister for the next 5 years , to economic growth, rural upliftment, health priorities , education, right to equality among poor and protection of women and providing their rightful rights by making amendments in the Constitution of India,if any.
