Raj Thackeray, is having a ball, all at the cost of North Indians, and in the process is taking out steam from Shiv Sena . A ploy deployed successfully. The Government of India and the Maharashtra Government are mute spectators. Time and again ,North Indians are beaten up at some place within Maharashtra , particularly Mumbai, it would not be out of place to reason out the main villain, the Maharasthra Government which allowed Raj Thackeray,to have his way, with the objective of weakening Shiv Sena, which ultimately may benefit, the Congress in the forthcoming elections. FIRs were lodged very late , and Raj Thackeray has managed to obtain bail/anticipatory bail. The Solution to Raj Thackeray's antics lies with the ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA. Raj Thackeray's MNS party should be de recognised by the Election Commission . The whole episode enacted by Raj Thackeray is to derive political mileage , and because the gimmick of North Indians and West Indians are catchy, even Marathis' know that Raj Thackeray is only using them, and playing with their sentiments. Once Election Commission of India acts and his party is de recognized , Raj Thackeray will have no platform to deliver, any venom ,among the marathi masses. It is to be noticed any such move on the part of Election Commission of India, after show causing him "why his party should not be banned and you be restrained from seeking elections to any election conducted by/under the supervision of Election Commission of India and its agencies. The move will not only find support from all political parties of India but also from Raj Thackeray's arch rival Shiv Sena. The only worry of Raj Thackeray at this juncture is how to beat his cousin Uddhav Thackeray . Raj Thackeray should be banned from holding any Government / Constitutional post at least for 10 years subject to relaxation provided his conduct is scrutinized by the authorities/police periodically, during this duration, under Probation, which he should be subjected to., and relaxation thought of,if any. Laws of the land are not strong/stringent enough to punish Raj Thackeray the accused in the rioting that took place in Mumbai. Now that the Maharasthra Government has acted against Raj Thackeray , it should ensure that North Indians feel free and are ensured of 'freedom of speech' and "Right to life with dignity"

i support the mns cause against anti-discrimination but i don't support there violent ways. btw, the protesters were not MNS people but common angry marathi speaking people who took the streets today. not raj's gundha's like the TV says. i like to look at the root of the problem and a problem which our north-indian news channels have cunningly ignored to telecast to argue about - unemployment in bihar/UP.

i think a state or any state is only equipped to handle it's own baggage. if there are people coming in then there should be equal people going out. a balance has to be maintained. the administrations of UP and bihar have failed to provide jobs to it's own stock and which is why the stock considers traveling to other states for jobs. the people to blame here is not raj thackray or MNS or north indians... but it's the administration of these two states who are to blame.

but since lallu controls the railway ministry and SP holds the UPA govt. together any actions against them is very unlikely. finally, it also shows the discrimination and vote bank politics played by the UPA govt. the common marathi voice speaks. no it screams.

Is Raj the only and first and last politician in india whose party has indulged in VIOLENCE?
congress killed sikhs after indira gandhi's murder.
BJP killed muslims in gujrat. -very well known fact, even today modi cannot get USA visa due to this.
Lalu Mulayam party- full of criminals.
Abu Azmi of SP is ex-accused in 1993 Mumbai blasts.
All these parties can rule, but u want only MNS to get banned?
Do you the anti-Hindi agitations of south india? Do u know that all south indian parties were involved in those riots? But they can rule, only MNS can't exist???
Answer me if u can.
I am a marathi, i dont justify violence, but for God's sake, stop singling out only marathis. All political parties do this..nobody is a saint.

It is true that Raj Thackeray is playing his antics with an eye on the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra, the same thing his uncle (the present shiva sena chief Mr Balasahib Thakeray) did in the seventies to gain a foothold in Maharashtra politics. The same triade was perpetuated by the Dravidian parties in south India against their north Indian brothers and against the hindi language.

It is a sad commentary that even after sixty yrs of democracy we have failed to gel as a nation. Our leadeers have failed to rise above regional and pharoacial politics and think of a nation as a whole. The educated youth are often exploited by these leaders to indulge in vandalism in order to achieve their sinister goals.

The problem lies no in banning any political party, because i am a firm believer that banning anything is not a solution to the problem. Many radical and terrorist outfits have been banned in India and abroad but the problem has not receded.

Political parties should stop playing the game of one upmanship by playing one political party against the other. Our youth should also understand that they are being used by politicians and indulge in vandalism. Last but not the least our metropolitan cities are being overburdened by the influx of people from other less developed states creating a pressure on the age old infrastructure .This is because of the skewed economic development which has created two type of states , the developed states like Maharashtra and Gujarat and the bimaru states like UP and Bihar. This has given sectarian politicians like Raj to exploit the local sentiments. Thereefore effort should be made to develop the poorer states also so that the exodus of people from these states can be checked.
